ASSE Foundation Scholarships

The ASSE Foundation has more than $100,000 to be awarded to undergraduate and graduate SH&E college students. They also have about $8,000 in Professional Development Grant funds available for ASSE members to improve their SH&E skills. Applications can be found on the ASSE Foundation Web Site. The deadline for these applications is December 1st.

NEW ASSE’s Body of Knowledge

ASSE’s Body of Knowledge builds upon the success of many resources, including The Safety Professionals Handbook-ASSE’s major 2-volume reference set on the SH&E profession-and makes them available in a searchable, interactive database. Dozens of contributors, including writers, editors and peer reviewers, are currently updating and enhancing the BOK. The BOK project is ongoing, and the Society looks forward to your contributions as well.

Free Year of ASSE Membership for Graduating Student Members

To congratulate student members for a job well done completing a safety professional program, ASSE offers all graduating student members a “grad gift” as they start your career – a FREE one-year membership to ASSE as a Member! A year of membership with ASSE will help students successfully transition from safety student to full-time safety professional.
